Privacy Policy

Confera, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the myfone.app mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect: call audio recordings, SMS/MMS content, GPS location, camera data, or biometric data. We do not store your credit card number or payment card details — payments are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant third-party processor.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service (telecommunications, payment processing, analytics), and only to the extent required. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or to prevent imminent harm. In a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the successor entity.

4. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

We collect CPNI as defined by 47 U.S.C. § 222, including numbers called, call duration, and call charges. We use CPNI solely to provide and bill for the Service. We do not use CPNI for marketing or share it with third parties except as required to deliver the Service or by law.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (profile, phone numbers, call history, wallet, transactions) is permanently deleted. Server logs are retained for a reasonable period for security and troubleshooting.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted device storage, SSL database connections, API rate limiting, and webhook signature validation. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may delete your account at any time from the app Settings. You can revoke device permissions (contacts, microphone, notifications) through your device settings at any time.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of sale/sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Contact privacy@myfone.app to exercise your rights.

9. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others) may have similar rights. Contact privacy@myfone.app.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will post changes with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
